This December, LCMI is conducting a campaign to reach out to the poor and elderly in the community. From December 16th to 23rd, we will focus on delivering essential support to those in need—widows, widowers, orphans, the homeless, and the abandoned—in Masaka’s villages, including Ssenya, Kasswa, Kitambuza, and the surrounding villages.
Our purpose is to spread love and compassion by donating and distributing food, clothing, bedding, and other necessities based on the unique needs of the beneficiaries. We are motivated by Jesus’ words: “When you fed and dressed them, you were feeding me.” (Matthew 25:35-40) We hope that this campaign will represent Christ’s love by uplifting people who are struggling and making them feel cared for and cherished during this season of giving.
I was born a sickler, and I used to fall sick all the time. I thank God because, since I joined this ministry, I have seen God’s healing hand touch my life. Now I have not fallen sick for a long time, and I believe God has healed me.
I thank God for using this ministry to provide for my education by covering my school fees and supplying scholastic materials. All glory be to God.
I thank God that through this ministry, I have been able to learn His Word, lean on Him, and trust in Him. I am growing stronger spiritually every day.
